Disaster management training held at Pulwama | KNO

PULWAMA, JUNE 29 (KNO) : A day-long disaster management awareness programme was held at Pulwama during which volunteers were imparted with training to deal with calamities in a coordinated manner.

CSSS J&K supported By Caritas India, in collaboration with State Disaster Management Authority conducted the preparedness programme which was followed by the mock drill for community volunteers. The training focussed on first-aid and other rescue techniques to minimize losses during any disaster.

Experts urged the youth to come forward for such trainings and learn the requisite skills as usually, they are the first responders during such times.
